The Dragonfish will be holding open tryouts this summer. For the 2013 season to reclaim the championship!
Tryouts are going to be….
Saturday June 1st in Grand Rapids MVP Sports Spot or Rivertown Sports Complex(floodong) 7 – 8:30
Sunday June 9th In Holland The Edge Ice arena 5 – 7pm
Satuday June 15th In Grand Rapids 7 – 8:30
If you have been on the team in the past you still need to come out to the tryouts.
Tryouts are $10/person
Practices will start July 7th.
Our first game is August 3rd
The Grand Rapids Dragonfish will be holding the first round of Junior’s tryouts this Sunday 4/21 at the Edge Ice Arena in Holland, MI. 4444 Holland Ave, Holland, MI 49424
Cost is $10 a player
It will not be an intense tryout. We do not want players to get hurt for their High School Seasons.
We will be doing a lot of fundamental box drills and plays.
To make this team we ask that every player trying out makes it to at least 2 of the 3 tryouts that we will be holding.

The Grand Rapids Dragonfish is a Semi-Pro Box Lacrosse team and 2011 Midwest
Indoor Lacrosse Association Champions. The team is owned/managed by player/coach
Russ King.
Our goal is to keep playing lacrosse at a high level, fast pace and in your
face style. We love the fact that we can bring box lacrosse to West Michigan and
look forward to spreading box and field lacrosse throughout the area. It is our
hope that one day we get big enough to play in the Van Andel arena. We know that
can only happen with the support from you and the West Michigan lacrosse
community. Our biggest goal is to be the best small market team in the Midwest
now and eventually the country, after the league keeps expanding in the years to
come.
